Review: Avon lipsticks (testers)

Hey Beauties!

I love to order testers from Avon. You can't just buy a lipstick based on the picture, right? Usually the colors look very different in person. I also love lipstick testers, because I almost never use up the entire lipstick. Testers give me varieties of shades for a low price. I thought I would share my recent testers with anyone who thinks of buying one of those lipsticks.

I ordered five different lipstick testers. If you buy 5 you get them all for 1,25€. Otherwise one tester is around 0,30€.

Lipsticks from right to left: Plump Pout lipstick in Shimmer Peach, Ultra Color lipstick in Blush Nude, Ultra Color lipstick in Chic, Ultra Color lipstick in Lava Love and Perfect Kiss lipstick in Racy Red. Swatches below are in the same order.

First is Plump Pout lipstick in Shimmer Peach. It's a light peach color with silver shimmer. The base of the lipstick is pretty orange to gold so this would suit those with warm skin tone. It's pretty creamy formula, so maybe not the best for those with dry lips.

Next is Ultra Color lipstick in Blush Nude. It's a warm toned pink. It looks a bit darker in real life than it does on the photo below. It also has some plum tone to it.

This one is also Ultra Color lipstick in Chic. It's on the plumy side already, but very light plum pink shade. Perfect for every day wear if you're afraid of dark rich plums.

This is one of my favorites. Also Ultra Color lipstick in Lava Love. It's pink magenta toned red. I don't own any such shade and it's so interesting. It's also pretty warm toned and it's just the perfect mixture of pink and red.

This one is a repurchase. You might have seen this lipstick on me in some of the posts. It's Perfect Kiss lipstick in Racy Red. I love this color, especially for fall and winter. It's dark red color, with some plum tone to it.

All lipsticks are pretty shiny, glossy and moisturizing. Which means you will need to reapply them every once in a while. The only exception is Plump Pout lipstick, which is a lot more creamier and therefore it can stick quickly to dry patches. It's still pretty moisturizing, but because of the cream formula, it will last a bit longer then other lipsticks.

Darker shades can stain lips a little, just a warning.

All lipsticks cost 8 € (the full sized lipsticks), but Avon has a lot of good deals. Now they're around 5.60 to 3.90€.

I think they are pretty good and if you can get them when they're not fully prized, I recommend you purchase some. If not you can always order testers and have fun with those.

What's you're favorite lipstick from Avon, if you tried any?
